Enrico Valenti

Born on March 23, 1954 in Milan, Enrico Valenti still lives and works there in his beloved Italy. He is the founder, with his partner Kitty Perria, of Gruppo 80, Italy's most successful puppet studio, designing and building original puppets for the entertainment industry. His experiences as a creative artist and puppeteer, writer, director, and TV producer nurture his continuing passion, painting. It is as a painter, in his own studio, away from the uncompromising demands of his puppetry enterprise, that Enrico truly expresses himself in the freedom of the language of symbols, shapes, textures, and colors.
